Starter Membership

With Starter Membership, you can get to know Talk City before deciding whether or not to invest in Talk Citizenship. Starter Membership is free, and includes:

  • Access to Talk City chat rooms or message boards.*
  • Customizable member profile with photo gallery and blog.
  • Participation in chats via the standard Talk City Java chat interface (no IRC° access).

Talk Citizen Basic

If you want total chat flexibility and support, you should apply for full Citizenship! Talk Citizens get all of the benefits of Starter Membership plus:

  • Use any IRC-compatible chat client to participate in Talk City chat rooms*
  • As a Talk Citizen, you have your choice of dozens of third-party IRC chat clients to use in Talk City chat rooms. Popular IRC programs like mIRC, Pirch, and others are developed by other companies or individuals. Some are free, some are shareware, and some require license fees. The Talk Citizen Basic plan is compatible with most of these third-party programs.†
  • Access to preferred customer support, including e-mail support

Talk Citizen Room Owner

Take charge with your own Talk City chat rooms and message boards! The Talk Citizen Room Owner plan is our most powerful membership option, and includes as many chat rooms and message boards as you like, along with all of the benefits of the Talk Citizen Basic plan, PLUS 200MB of attachment space! Features include:

  • Unlimited chat rooms and message boards
  • Total control over your chat rooms and message boards through our powerful Control Center interface
